Meet the Women Behind Radish

Amy & Laura have known each other for what seems like forever, although we only met a few years ago! We met socially when Amy was working with Laura’s husband at a creative consulting firm and it was an instant meeting of the minds! Amy was working for a corporate firm and Laura was working for a tech startup in the city. It was immediately clear that we shared a passion for entertaining with friends, good wine and of course great food. We found ourselves gravitating toward the kitchen together at parties and endlessly sharing our love for food. After a few years of hosting dinner parties and spending our free time tackling the culinary “to dos” of New York, it wasn’t long before our ideas for Radish were scribbled on a cocktail napkin over margaritas. Radish was born! It was a tough time in the economy, but we were ready to leave the corporate world behind and pursue our passion together.

With one of us from an Italian family on the East Coast, the other from a Northern Californian family on the West Coast, we put together our creative minds to create something that brings what we love best to all of you. Radish was born out of our love for wonderful food, and our love of celebrating each and every season as something we look forward to. Our offerings are simple yet unique, and our team puts an interesting twist on the foods we’ve all grown to love, and of course our quality is always uncompromising. We both grew up with wonderful food on the table as a way to bring friends and family together, and it is our hope that you enjoy our food with others.
